About the Business of Farming Course
The Business of Farming course is 100% designed and developed by Planfarm and it is a proven pathway to success. Created from the ground up, this course covers the absolute fundamentals of farming and farm business as well as covering the important areas of human resource development, tax and legal. It allows you to set your vision for the future, then helps you to achieve it. Depending on where you are at in your working life, this course can assist you to progress from worker, to manager, and eventually farm business owner. For farm business families, the Business of Farming Course is a brilliant platform for encouraging corporate compatibility and long-term success.
Is this course right for me?
Initially, we created the Business of Farming Course for individual farmers, however, we really encourage family members to do the program together where possible. We believe that a critical element of success is having all members of the business working towards a common goal. There’s nothing like having everyone on the same page.
How is the course run?
The Business of Farming course runs over 4 weeks, with 20 online video modules and supporting worksheets. In terms of group interaction, we come together for four webinars and discuss the modules we have just completed.
